The physiology and biochemistry of mammalian sperm capacitation and sperm-female reproductive tract interactions, having focused mainly on the bovine system. More recently, have also studied cholesterol manipulations and the effects of cold shock and cryopreservation on porcine sperm viability and capacitation.
