| Reproductive Pathology Symposium -
This Symposium will be presented by 8 speakers, internationally recognized for their individual expertise in one or more areas of reproductive pathology, molecular biology and/or diagnostic pathology. The meeting will extend over one and a half days (Sept 4th and 5th). Attendees will receive instruction in principles of general pathology and shown how molecular techniques are used to study and diagnose reproductive diseases. An important component of the Symposium will be an emphasis on comparative pathology of reproductive diseases. Reproductive pathology of both the male and female will be included in the program. Although most of the meeting will focus on domestic animals, sessions will include discussion of reproductive diseases in wildlife , human and rodent species. Experts in diagnostic pathology will present concise overviews of the most important reproductive diseases in each of the domestic mammalian animals. Each speaker will address pathogenesis, gross lesion recognition (presentations will be heavily illustrated), diagnostic work-ups and clinical implications. Panel discussions led by attendee input and participation will be held each day.
