Education/Experience
Dr. Isaac Bott received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 2009. He received a substantial scholarship in 2008 for work with agricultural animals and also earned an award for proficiency in camelid theriogenology in 2009.
Dr. Bott owns and operates Mountain West Animal Hospital, a mixed animal practice, in Springville, UT. Dr. Bott also serves as a board of director for the Society For Theriogenology.
Dr. Bott has published several articles involving his reproductive work in alpacas.
He has also published a considerable amount of information on artificial insemination in domesticated reindeer. He owns his own reindeer herd in Utah and has pioneered heat synchronization and artificial insemination programs in that species.
Dr Bott and his wife Melanie have 3 children and live in Elk Ridge, UT.
Social/Volunteer Organizations
Dr. Bott currently serves as a member of the executive board of the Society For Theriogenology. He also serves as a member of the AVMA Council on Veterinary Service.
