Served as clinical veterinarian for University of California San Diego School of Medicine, served as Chief of Veterinary Services for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), served as Chief of Surgery at the National Primate Center, writer/consultant for Department of Defense Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), have owned and directed private practices for many years (American Animal Hospital Approved) with primary focus on reproductive medicine and surgery, owner/director of International Canine Semen Bank-San Diego 2007-2016, quality control testing for reproductive medicine products for pharmaceutical companies, consultant for private pharmaceutical and educational institutions, owner of Biotechnical Veterinary Consultants, author of more than 20 books on a wide variety of exotic pets and canines and their health care.
