SFT and ACT member Dr. Rob Gilbert has been chosen as the recipient of the 2015 Theriogenologist of the Year Award, sponsored by Universal Imaging, to be presented Thursday, August 6 at this year's annual Therio Conference in San Antonio. Gilbert will be honored with this award for his outstanding contributions to theriogenology. Dr. Gilbert is a devotee of comparative reproductive studies. He has published original observations related to dogs, cats, sheep, goats, beef and dairy cattle, horses, non-domestic species and on human reproductive conditions. He is probably best known, however, for his work on postpartum uterine disease in dairy cows. The ACT congratulates Dr. Gilbert on this award and all his accomplishments in the field of theriogenology.
