Therio Board of Director Positions to Be Filled


Three individuals are running to serve a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Theriogenology.  Pursuant to the Society bylaws, the general election will be held during the annual conference slated for August 12-16, 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri.  The election will take place during the annual business meeting at the convention on Wednesday, August 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency-Union Station.

Those seeking to serve as directors include Dr. William Schultz of Okemos, Michigan, Dr. James Floyd of Raleigh, North Carolina and Dr. Donald E. Sanders of Urbana, Ohio.  Click Here for Candidates Biographies.

Annual Therio Convention Includes Public Symposiums

The Therio Conference and Symposia not only offers a wealth of great educational opportunities for Therio and ACT members, it also reaches out to the public by holding an Alpaca Seminar and a Canine Breeders Symposium.  If any of your clients are canine or alpaca breeders, make sure you let them know about these special one day public sessions being held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency-Union Station in St. Louis.  Full details and registration are available online at
