During veterinary school, my summer job was working with Drs. Woods and Vanderwall at the Northwest Equine Reproduction Laboratory in the couple years proceeding the successful birth of the mule clones. I then worked in private practice for 7 years before taking a job in a veterinary technology program at a university. In practice we had a moderately sized equine reproduction practice. We also had a moderate number of beef cattle clients for which we did pregnancy diagnosis, dystocia management, and bull semen and trichomoniasis testing. Since at the university, I have maintained equine reproduction clientele.
Social/Volunteer Organizations
I volunteer for two student organizations at the university mentoring hopeful pre-veterinary students as well as veterinary technology students. I also work with my church's youth groups.
