Student Chapter of the Year (SCOTY) Award
Each year, the SFT honors the outstanding work of our active student chapters with the SCOTY Award. This award is based on established criteria, focused on activities on campus and at the Annual Therio Conference.

A call for student case presentations and student research presentations is issued each year for the annual conference.

Student Case and Research Presentations
Student/Mentor Reception
Students registered to attend the annual Therio Conference are paired with an SFT member mentor who will help them navigate the conference, answer questions about the field of theriogenology and assist with future networking and externship placement. Pairings are announced at the Student Mentor Reception, immediately following student abstract presentations.
Student Travel Grants
Student travel grants are available through the Theriogenology Foundation to students presenting a student case or research abstract or participating in the Student Trivia Night (see details below). Please click here for more information.
Trivia Night
Student participation is always free! Prizes are awarded to individual team members and winning teams receive funding for their chapters and points toward the SCOTY award.
